BBQ Onions
4 sweet onions
4 oz.sweet butter
salt as needed
Joe's Resque Red Rub - Sprinkle liberally
Joe's Resque Red Applewood Sauce - as needed

Preheat grill - medium heat

Peel the onions Sice off top approx. 1/3 down the onion (save top) and core 1/2 way through in the center to create a well. Add butter salt and Joes Rub . Replace the top (as a lid) Wrap in aluminum foil. Place on the grill for around 1 hour over indirect heat.

When tender throughout remove from foil, serve with its own juices and pour Joes BBQ sauce on top.
